Wild Water – a fairly new game from NetEnt – is a popular game amongst surfing players, and you can probably guess… it’s a game set on the idyllic beach-settings surrounding surfing, and the luxury beach life many of us can only dream about!
(Well that said, there is a nasty Shark who appears on the reels, so it’s not ALL good news – but still a fun game nonetheless!)
Joking aside, Wild Water is extremely unique, as it uses GIANT reel symbols, instead of the traditional sized ones. For example, on a typical slot game, you normally fit between 3-5 symbols on a single reel.
Wild Water however, has what other games would call stacked symbols – that is, they take up the entire reel – expect that in Wild Water, they’re not stacked at all, and it’s just the way the game plays out!
The symbols that are large like this, include a variety of surfers – 5 to be precise – although there are two symbols that aren’t giant, and that includes the wild symbol – the shark – and the scatter/feature symbol, which takes the form of a silhouetted surfer chick riding the barrel of a wave.
Cool gameplay, and great animations make Wild Water a really enjoyable game, and NetEnt appear to have ‘pulled it out the bag’ yet again, with this one!
Bonuses & Features
First off, there’s a couple of cool “in-game” features. If, on any spin, you get a full screen of any five suffers – that is to say, there are no wild or scatter symbols showing, and each reel features a surfer in FULL – you’ll be paid 20X your stake.
If you achieve this, but each reel contains a different surfer – i.e. one surfer per reel – you’ll win a generous 200X your stake!
Three or more of the scatter symbols triggers the free spins, and 3 awards 15 spins, 4 gives 30 spins, and 5 awards a whopping 60 spins! During the free spins round, whenever a shark wild symbol appears, it will transform into a MEGA symbol, taking up the entire reel, so land just a couple, on pay-lines 1,2, and/or 3, and you’ve got yourself 2 wild reels!
Wild Water – as a NetEnt game – is fully-optimised for both mobile phones, and tablets – and can be enjoyed on any device with an Internet connection.
