Go Bananas slot review

Go Bananas is Gorilla-crazy slot game from Net Entertainment, and makes up part of their impressive animal-themed range of games.

The slot game opens up with a unique loading screen, which, while isn’t something usually talked about during slot reviews, takes presence here, as it looks like a news report, and helps to add depth to the game, and gives a different experience than many of the other, similar slot games around today.

The game features 20 pay-lines, and features 10 betting levels, alongside multiple different coin values. This allows you to customise your gaming experience, and the minimum stake is just 20p, making Go Bananas a slot game that’s affordable to all players. Unlike Starburst – another popular Net Entertainment title – it’s not possible to change the number of pay-lines.

The reels contain a wide selection of game-specific symbols, and you won’t find any traditional playing-card symbols, including 10, J, Q, K, and A here!

Instead, you’ll see a variety of fruits, and strange monkey-symbols, which – well, they’re better left for YOU to see for yourself!

Bonuses & Features

Interestingly, there’s no free spins feature in this Net Entertainment game, which is pretty rare for the company, as they prize themselves on building some of the best games around, which incidentally, usually include some of the best features around.

That said, there is the in-game “feature” if you like, which happens when you get a win with any of the monkeys on the reels.

Occasionally, when you land a decent win with any of the Monkey symbols, they’ll go ape-s*!t on screen, and end up doing some weird dances and prowls over the game board. When they do this, they can add additional symbols – of themselves, the narcissistic bastards! – potentially increasing small 3-of-a-kind pay-lines, into 4-of-a-kind and 5-of-a-kind.

Mobile Play

Go Bananas isn’t yet optimised for mobile devices, and while some users may be able to play the game from tablets (and very occasionally mobile phones), it’s not recommended, and most reputable online casinos won’t even display the game if you’re logging in from a mobile device, as… to put it simply, it’s not designed for it.

Overall however, despite the lack of a mobile version, Go Bananas is a really fun game, and is yet another winning title from Net Entertainment!
